A surprise proposal at the top of a viewpoint at magnificent Mount Assiniboine was timed just right. This young man had the plans laid out months in advance to get these photographs. After we all flew into the campground by helicopter, we met at 4 a.m. the next morning to hike up for over an hour to the best viewpoint of the “Matterhorn of the Rockies” otherwise known as Mount Assiniboine, at sunrise. The weather was perfect and the sky had a pink tinge at 5:45 a.m. as he got down on one knee and proposed. Yes! She said Yes! Everyone enjoyed the beautiful views from the top.
